Namaste
I was truly honored when one of my favorite yoga teachers contacted me to schedule a shoot. Cindy is an amazing teacher and I always come into her classes excited as well as nervous. Sounds, odd, but let me explain. When her word of the day, presented at the beginning of class is something like 'community' I'm excited. When her word of the day is something akin to 'stamina' I get nervous. Still excited, but I know I'm going to get my behind kicked in class. Her classes are challenging, but playful and I appreciate her dedication to both yoga as well as her students. I only shot one frame of film at the end of our shoot, but I'm glad I did as it is easily my favorite shot of the day.

Last Shots - Long Beach
This is what happens when you're on the way to the lab and all you have left is three shots.
Shooting young strangers is fun. :)

The Cass - Long Beach
Ah, she owns a chunk of my heart. I found prints of these shots tucked away in a sleeve from Walmart. These were taken almost two years ago when I started shooting film again. I had the negatives re-scanned and I still can't believe how much I love film and this dog.

The Holidays - Norwalk
I know it's late, but I've finally gotten the chance to sort through some film scans. This, by far, is one of my favorite shots of our Christmas Eve party.

London
Let me preface this post by saying that it pales in comparison to Paris. I'm not sure if I was warming up, if the New Year holiday closures prevented me from shooting, or if I felt limited with the equipment I had. But I only had a roll and change shot of London. However, I can say that I truly enjoyed my time there. And I know why.
As much as I was okay with being by myself during this trip, it helped that I was able to see a familiar face or two in London. And, no I didn't take pictures of the time I spent with my friends, but I can say that it was the best part of the trip. It was a great way to spend the first day of the year.
I will go back and shoot London properly one day. But for now, this will do.
